Why Good Neighbors Depends Upon Your Support

 

If you’re reading this, you’re probably familiar with Good Neighbors’ hands-on work during the Spring and Summer months.  It’s a lot of work, a lot of fun and there’s a lot of personal and visual impact... it’s like the icing on the cake!  This work is supported by Mission Groups fees and project-specific fundraising.

 

Our work during the Fall and Winter months is equally important.  During these months, our work includes:

 

• Meeting and developing relationships with families who need our help

• Planning and estimating our upcoming projects’ material, labor and staffing needs

• Finishing projects our Mission Groups couldn’t complete

• Maintaining, repairing and improving our facilities

• Strengthening our program through feedback from our participants. 

 

If the Spring and Summer are the Icing, the Fall and Winter are spent gathering ingredients to make the Cake!  Our Mission Group fees don’t cover this important part of our program, so we’re humbly asking for your help.  Your donations will have a long-term, foundational impact on our ability to serve families-in- need, as well as our mission groups, with excellence.  We are deeply thankful for our consistent donors, past, present and future.  Our programs are impactful because of your generosity!
